Coffee houses in Knoxville that have free WIFI

Are you looking for coffee houses in Knoxville that have free WI-FI? I am and it's not easy. Knoxville is blessed with a good number of them. That's reassuring news for anyone who needs to combine a caffeine kick with work.

When my cell modem is on the fritz finding a coffee house in Knoxville that has free WI-FI saves the day. It's also the answer when I (or someone with me) wants a taste of the best Colombian coffee that they can find.

Email me or leave a comment to tell me about the ones that are missing. My goal is to make this article a quick reference for others who are on the go or visiting Knoxville. You can almost never go wrong with coffee and WI-FI. So, let's work together to create the best list that we can. Here's what I have so far.

Big box brands
Most people are familiar with Starbuck's and Panera Bread. They are scattered throughout almost ever part of Knox county. They each have websites that will pinpoint the exact location of each store. For this reason, the individual locations aren't included in this article.

Look for future articles to come right here on

  1. Thanks Gayle, this is going to be a very helpful article!

If you're having to wait for someone, the waiting areas of UT hospital have free Wi-Fi and they have a Starbucks kiosk and decent coffee in the cafeteria.

  2. Hi John,

Good to know! I imagine that pastors are familiar with both coffee and hospitals. Thanks for helping the list expand. It's one for the bookmarks. :)
