AStore by Amazon set to retire

The AStore from Amazon is set to retire later this month. This is the panel to the right where I list my camera gear and other favorite products. Each of the items that are listed are things that I own, use and hold up well. The A Store allowed me to put the cameras and other items into one convenient location.

Taking its place will be My Store. This will be a static page here on You've Been Reviewed that will link to my favorite products. My Store links page will be a continual work in progress.  I will add to the list as I find products to review and recommend. My Store will have links to the solar panel and Maxair fan on our RV to camera gear and home products like my daughter's shiny new Kitchen Aid stand mixer (which she loves.

Please be advised that the links on My Store are part of the Amazon Affiliate program. This is a fancy way of saying that I receive a commission any time an item is bought through a link. It's not much. The commission is often around 1%.  I don't think it's ever been more than 4%. From July to October 2017, the commission has ranged from a low of .23 cents on an almost $30 purchase to $54 on a $1,349 purchase.

There is a minimum payout of $10 that must be met before payment is received. Some months I hit the jackpot, most often I don't. When that happens the funds roll over until they get to the magic number.

Funds from the Amazon affiliate links help me keep the sites up and running. It also helps me travel and create YouTube videos that you enjoy. If you ever have any questions, let me know. Pop them in on the comments section below or shoot me an email. I'm always glad to hear from you.
